Long Tom Pass Summit

For the fifth consecutive year Round Table Rivonia 230 embarked on its annual 440-in-4 cycle tour. The tour is a fundraising initiative, where each day a gruelling 110km is covered for 4 consecutive days. This year the route meandered through the beautiful Mpumalanga. Unfortunately for the participants the glorious vistas were accompanied by monstrous hill and the infamous Long Tom Pass had to be conquered twice.

The participants get sponsorships from corporates, friends and family and the proceeds are used by Rivonia 230 to assist the most vulnerable members of our community.

Effective Labs’ got behind the tour for the second consecutive year as part of its social responsibility drive. Maureen Arnold said “The tour is a great vehicle for us to channel funds to  where it is most needed, Rivonia 230 continues to do amazing work”.
